Lemon Bars


1 cup butter
2 cups flour
½ cup powdered sugar
½ tsp. salt

Blend above ingredients as for pastry. Press in 9 x 13 pan.
Bake for 15 minutes at 350o . Cool for 10 minutes.

Pour over top:
4 eggs beaten
½ tsp. baking powder
2 cups sugar
6 T. lemon juice
¼ cup flour
1 T. lemon rind

Bake at 350o for 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle powdered sugar over top. Cut into bars.
